BBB of Acadiana announced the winners of their Integrity Awards during their 21st Annual Awards Program luncheon Nov. 7 at City Club in River Ranch.The program is held annually to honor local businesses exemplifying integrity in the local business community.
The mission of the Awards Program is to promote both the importance of ethical business practices and the willingness and honor the efforts made by outstanding businesses to ensure our marketplace remains fair and honorable to everyone.

The awards program honors local companies chosen by BBB of Acadiana Board of Directors for maintaining a high level of integrity and creating trust in the Acadiana marketplace.
Two companies, one large and one small, were chosen as the winners of the Integrity Award, which is awarded to the businesses that have gained the respect of the community through programs that promote ethical business practices and principals.
The 2013 Small Company winner was Lee’s Air Conditioning Co., with Westmark Construction Co. Inc. and YMCA of Acadiana qualifying as finalists.
For over 40 years, Lee’s has been respected in the Acadiana area, making Acadiana a cooler place to live one home at a time. The company feels strongly that intensive training sets them above other competitors and ensures they are in the top of their field. They also believe the customer’s satisfaction is the most important thing in conducting their business.
Since the early 1980s, Westmark Construction has been building long term relationships with their customers.Their relationships are built on trust and communication.
The mission of the YMCA of Acadiana is to promote youth development, healthy living and social responsibility for children ages 4 to 12. Since 1984 this outstanding Acadiana nonprofit believes their actions and efforts can contribute to a child’s life.
The 2013 Large Company winner was Cornerstone Village South, with Bruce Foods Corp. and KATC Communications as the finalists.
